This just came to me today, but I don't really have anything to use it in, at least for the foreseeable future. :)

"So, I'm to be your puppet, then?"

"I suppose you do have a choice, but it's not a very fair one.
Either you dance at the end of our strings...or you dance at the end of
a rope."
I got it at Target over the summer in a little grow kit, but I foolishly threw away the packaging and don't remember what species it is. This is the vine from the other day, BTW.

I decided to give Dominators another try, since my play style has changed since giving up on TerraRyze, and since Dominators have been changed a little. Same basic "really bad day" origin story, but instead of Earth/Lightning, he's Mind Control/Earth Assault.
Of course I had to use several 'Terra' costume pieces )
No new comics shipped to my store, so I reviewed a GN I got for Christmas, and an online comic. )

Dave Van Domelen, "Without language or thought, how can you understand ANYTHING?" "Who knows. Maybe by whistling? -KHT.- -PHT.- It's too cold for whistling, Russell." - Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein, Logicomix
Black Lantern Suicide Squid.
A lot of Christmas standards (please, these aren't "holiday" songs, with a few exceptions) simply aren't all that long. Sure, many of them have obscure additional verses that can be used to stretch them out to the radio standard 3:15 length, but a lot of Christmas songs on the radio are horribly padded out, repeating the entire song twice with an instrumental solo in the middle or something.
I goofed and made the piece wider than my scanner plate, which means that even with some cropping there's shadow effects at the edges where the paper isn't flat against the glass.
With attempts to remove the shadow with contrast and brightness tweaks )
No adjustment at all )
Books of Note: Love and Capes #12, Iron Man vs. Whiplash #2 )
