Well, my plan had been to go to the office, put in an afternoon's work and then go see Hulk at 4. But they turned off the power to most of campus to do some repairs, so I grabbed some not-requiring-computer work to take home, checked out damage, and came home...gonna go see the 1PM showing of Hulk in a few minutes.

My office and the general group area I work in is fine. No windows or roof damage on the 4^th or 5^th floors where our group works. The lab supply room lost a window, but doesn't seem to have suffered any interior damage. The two General Physics lab classrooms lost a window or two, but neither had any equipment in them at the time (TAs were planning to do setup Thursday morning) so nothing got rain damaged, and the windows have already been boarded over and the glass swept up. Enough windows remain to keep the rooms from being cave-like.

I think I can compress my lectures from Thursday and next Monday into one hour, then offer the excised material to anyone who's willing to stick around for another half hour or so after the bell.

Off to the movies!

I couldn't even go in to see how bad the damage is, campus is cordoned off. I'll try again after lunch, when the rain has stopped and it won't be so annoying to walk in from off-campus in the event the cordons are still up. At least my work email seems to be working again, more or less.
