The first three people to ask for 'em gets sketches of any character. You may want to provide references if you're not sure I know the character, and if I've already drawn a finished version of the character you may want to pick someone else. July 18 is slim pickings...just National Crysanthemum Day, which may even be an apocryphal holiday.

Snurched from not_croaker. Go to Music Outfitters (assuming they're not being slashdotted to death by this bleme) and type in your year of birth in the search window. One of the results should be the top 100 songs of that year. C&P the list into your LJ. Bold the ones you like. And as an extra treat to expand the bleme, put an asterisk next to any you're CERTAIN you have heard, but don't like. "Like" in this context means "wouldn't leap to change the channel if it came on."

Oh, and if you're on my flist, please put the songs behind a cut. :)

Odd to see so many groups I think of as 60s groups having hits in 1970. I've probably heard a few more of these songs, but don't connect them to the titles.
