According to Kyde (I think), Crankcase has the Hazmat deco because his original TFU profile mentioned that he used to be a fuel spill janitor on Cybertron.
The little wall thing that keeps the toes from going too far inside the front end of the vehicle mode kinda gets in the way of getting the legs snapped together all the way on the original Red Alert. Cannonball removed half that wall so that it still blocked the feet but not the legs.
