In the same trip that got me the Tyrrell I repainted as Drag Strip, I picked up a Danicar. It's a new fantasy Hot Wheels car designed by Danica Patrick. All I did to it was put a Decepticon symbol on it, et viola! Updated Drag Strip!

Started a new Praetorian character, the psionic Clockwork Mindfire.EXE, tonight for a reduced Supergroup run (we didn't want to get the existing group-based Praetorians out of synch). And afterwards, I wrapped up Jen Kleinvogel's run in Praetoria and brought her to Paragon City, where she got a second costume based on the ASH character's look during an exile in ancient China.
( Mindfire.EXE just wants daddy Neuron's attention, so she's acting out. )

The original Drag Strip turned into an almost-close-enough-to-sue version of the Tyrrell P34 formula racer, and now there's a Hot Wheels version of it. Once I saw one in a light enough color scheme that I would only need a dozen coats of paint and not two dozen, I went for it.

I actually had this idea last year, but only a couple days before Halloween, not enough time to actually do a decent job. So I put together the materials over the next few weeks, then set them aside to work on closer to the next Halloween. Well, it's closer, and I put it all together tonight. Behold, I am (a) Monster Island!
