Okay, I'm on the last tape to transfer to DVD, so time to check and see what eps I'm missing. Keeping in mind that Volume XIX is currently in the mail to me, and XX has been announced, there's a few eps not listed here that I don't have at the moment but will have sooner or later.
KTMA: I only have K05 and K13.
Season 1: 108-110 I have without host segments, I'm entirely missing 112 and 113. (Update: 111 has the middle host segments, but not the opening or closing.)
Season 2: missing 203, 205, 209 (pro version does exist, but is out of print...a used copy runs about $25 on Amazon, new copies $90+). (Update: 201 is trimmed like 111.)
Season 3: missing 302, 306-310, 313, 315-317, 321 (still in print, but comes with yet another copy of Manos).
Season 4: missing 411, 412, 416, 418.
I have everything from Seasons 5-10 in either pro or off-VHS form. So, leaving aside KTMA eps and the two that I could theoretically buy but might be a bit more expensive than I'd like, I'm missing 18 eps and have three more that I have poor copies of. Season 3 is my biggest hole, more than half the eps I lack are from that season. And a lot are never getting pro releases due to rights issues.

Dropped a buck in quarters into one of those claw machines so I could fish out one of the knockoff Gundam figures I saw inside. Too low-detail to do a serious paint job, but then I noticed the abdomen area looked kinda like teeth....

All mildly recommended. Sledge/Throttler is the best core design, but ends up ugly. Leadfoot/Pinpoint and Icepick/Chainclaw are both just kinda mediocre overall. Sledge does have the advantage of coming with Throttler, who turns into a Core Drill of sorts, for the piercing of heavens and suchlike.

So, I was pulling into my usual really good parking space in the almost empty parking lot at 7:25, rather pleased that despite spending some time writing this morning I'd managed to get a little ahead of my usual schedule. I reach over to grab my lunch and take it in...and realize my lunch is still at home (I had several things to bring out to the car this morning, and forgot one).
Fine, traffic is light and it's not a day I have to be at work at 7:30 (which was the case last time I forgot my lunch), so I turn around and go home for it. I made it back to the parking lot at 7:40 and slid back into my really good parking space. I grabbed my lunch and headed in.
Then I noticed I'd forgotten my phone too. Sigh. While I probably could still have gotten it and returned before the lot filled up, enough's enough. (And odds are I'd be getting pestered by robocalls all day anyway.) I'll grab it after I vote this afternoon.

Last week, the foam covers on the headphones I wear with my iPod started to fray, so I looked to see if I could find replacements. But not only does no one sell just the foam covers around here, it turned out to be an oddball size that I couldn't cannibalize dollar store headphones for (and I tried that). I finally broke down and bought a new pair, even though the actual working bits of the old pair are still fine.
Unfortunately, I find earbuds very uncomfortable. Even the good ones become an irritant after twenty minutes or so, and the cheap ones hurt immediately. Non-standard ears, I suppose. And while $50 silicone uber-buds might do the trick, I'm reluctant to drop that much money just on the hope. But I also prefer the convenience of headphones that don't have a band between them, which drops me into a very narrow product range: over-ear clip-on headphones. Target has two brands, some Walmarts have a single brand, K-Mart none (and I didn't get around to checking Best Buy).
Eventually, I might end up having to order headphones from online specialty shops, the way things are trending. Unless some health scare erupts over earbuds and clip-overs regain popularity.

Edouard the Catman is a descendant of Dr. Moreau's creations in a world where Victorian mad scientists were just a little more sensible and rather than immediately self-destructing they managed to secure England's superiority well into the 20th Century. Uplifted animals were the new slave race, and Edouard was part of the slave resistance. But then the world was destroyed in 1989 by an experiment with interdimensional engines, and Ed got hurled into the ASH universe. (The original Champions version was a direct ripoff of Oedi from the Dreadstar comic, in addition to tweaking the name I've changed the cat breed.)

Coat-carrying season happens twice a year around here. It's when the temperature is too low in the morning to get away with a light coat, but too warm in the afternoon to wear anything heavier than a hoodie or windbreaker. As a result, I have to carry my coat in the afternoon, and there's a small but nonzero chance I'll forget it at work. Since picking up a heavy hoodie a couple years ago I've been able to whittle down coat-carrying season a bit, since it's good down to about 40F (5C) and can be crammed in my backpack if the afternoon temperatures get unseasonably warm, but today it was just too cold. If it doesn't warm up a bit tomorrow morning, I'll have to officially start coat-carrying season....
