I liked Vehicle Voltron. I always wished I had the toys.

I have an all-plastic but otherwise good quality knockoff of the set that I found at K-Mart back in 2002 (in fact, I bought it while on the road from Michigan to Kansas).

The idea was cool. The individual components were somewhat lacking, though. And the glass in the foot-SUV windows must have been the strongest glass in the universe.

One of these days, I'm going to have to pick up/rent the GoLion and Dairuggar DVDs to test my theory that Lion Voltron was the better US show, but Dairuggar was dumbed down more and started out as the better anime.
