Ha! My current plan is to skip all the 5-packs and most of the 2-packs, but that's more because storage and display space is at a premium for me post-Botcon. I actually got to play with a Skyburst set for a couple of minutes, and at the atomic "are they fun to play with" level, those are very cool toys that kids are gonna eat up.
I can't figure out why people dismiss whole lines though. I myself didn't care for the Animated or Movie aesthetics. So what? I just got the ones I did happen to like, while thinking Animated would be GREAT for getting younger fans into transformers, and Movie would be GREAT for getting new engineering into the line. Every line has something good, and if someone really hates EVERYTHING, just wait a year for something else.

Bombshock is MUCH MUCH better than Skyburst. Only a few flaws keep it from being a Strongly Recommended.
