Today the weather finally got as warm as the long range forecast had been promising. So my morning walk was a bit warm. The only thing I ran across worth noting here is that one house had a SUV painted black with yellow and orange flames on the front...and the mailbox was painted to match. Incongruously, they had a little corgi dog yipping around the Flaming Truck of Doom.

The "Church picnic" turned out to be more of a church fair, and we went over after lunch. I got a couple of slices of very nummy angelfood cake (something I tend not to get because I'd have to buy an entire cake) at the bake sale, plus some Crispix Mix for later.

After the picnic, I got dropped off at the Bay Park Square mall, the closer of the two malls in town. Turns out it was the "wrong mall" as there's another my parents never bother with, but which must be the place where the main gaming store in town has a branch store. After trolling through the entire mall I went to the nearby businesses too, buying the Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary at Barnes & Noble. Then I went back to the food court for a snack before calling for pickup.

Nothing after dinner tonight, and no I didn't watch Lost. Why start now?

My understanding of "Lost" is that it's the bastard love-child of Gilligan's Island and The Prisoner (sucky recent AMC remake) with characters channeled from a Joss Whedon story without even his story-filters.

That is probably all anyone really needs to know about it.
