One of the first things that came to my mind was "Pharaohtron" from the Fanprojects City Commander trailer for Classics Magnus. He's in the little pack-in comic, which basically does "TFs with an Egyptian flare, instead of Primus".
As for his feet, I was able to set him down on top of a candleholder made of a giant salt crystal; his feet didn't completely unfurl, just semi-opened. He stayed there without falling for three days..
