Around 8:30 AM, power kinda went out. It was almost random, lights would be on in one area but not another. My office had all sockets live, but the lights were out, and the wired internet connection was down (although the wireless was still up). Annoyingly, the emergency lights would often be on in an area that still had power...and off in an area without power. Including a windowless stairwell.
After about fifteen minutes of that, power came back on for a few minutes, and then went out entirely. At least the emergency lighting all came on. Finally got power about 9:30, although it's taking a while for all the servers to come back up (still can't access work email, for instance).
At least break starts at the end of the day, and there's nothing I can't put off until Monday, aside from teaching my class. And even if the power goes back out, 90% of today's stuff can be done without electricity.
