My short paper based on the Mythbusters "pulling telephone books apart" show has been accepted by The Physics Teacher and will be printed some time this coming spring, yay! Now to get my next paper in shape and send it out....
I remember seeing that episode. I wasn't surprised that it was hard to pull them apart--there's a very large area of contact providing an insane amount of friction.
