Last night, TCM was showing lesser-known kaiju flick "X From Outer Space," starring the monster Guilala, who was covered in frilly bits. He was at one point lured away by a box of isotope XTU-249 and eventually defeated by being covered in a spaceborne element that looked suspiciously like soap foam. The frills caused me to think "K-Girl" and the bubblebath ending clinched it.

Drawn in ink, colored in Prismacolors with a little paint around the feet to mask some oopses.
