Honoring Lego Day

Today is the 50th Anniversary of Lego. In honor of this, I opened up the Axonn and Brutaka sets (from a couple of waves of Bionicle ago, I got 'em on clearance a few months ago and then never opened the things) and built these bad boys. Axonn is nice, but his arms are too floppy (he could have used some more of those rubberized sockets seen on his hips and knees). Brutaka is HUGE, about a foot tall if he stands straight-legged (although he looks better in a crouch), and it wouldn't take too much to make him a color-swapped Laelapis. Already has the secondary pair of arms....

Alas, I've been many miles from my Lego since Sunday night, so I was unable to do anything for the occasion.
