Went to the Ear/Nose/Throat doctor today to get my nosebleed issue taken care of. While I was there, he did a generl ENT check, and found I had a disturbing amount of earwax buildup. Like, half-inch-long plugs of brown and black wax.

Now that those plugs have been wrestled out, I can hear more clearly, but that's something of a mixed blessing, since most of the extra things I'm hearing are cloth rustling, furniture squeaking, etc. Background noise I'd been successfully ignoring with my "earplugs" in. Wheeee. Hope it doesn't keep me from falling asleep tonight.

Ew, I had those a lot. Now I'm forced to clean my ears out all the time lest it happen again, because I'd get those giant plugs like every 3 months. Once I almost couldn't hear anything until the doctor flushed them out.

I normally have hyper-sensitive hearing, and am very bothered by those sounds too.

I had a general Ent check once.

Apparently, I'm *not* a treeman.

Yoog. I had that once, when I had the hard Measles. At the age of 19, or was it 20. We thought I'd had them as a kid, but we were mistaken.

Dunno why the measles made my earwax go mad though.
