Just saw a PSA that proclaimed that for every hour of exercise, such as brisk walking, you could live an extra two hours. Oooookay. So, if I exercise for an hour, I spend one of those two hours exercising, and get a bonus hour to live beyond that. Or I could not exercise for that hour, and have the same hour to do non-exercising stuff that I'd have if exercising. Not exactly a compelling argument, eh? ;) Still comes down to, "if you like exercising, you get to do it at no net cost", not "if you don't like exercising, here's a reason to start!" They need a slightly better argument, methinks.

Well, there's also the fact that eventually they won't even break even anymore. Of all the non-ageing life in the world, humans aren't one of them. We just don't divide right, I guess. Now if I *could* go through mitosis and make copies of myself, a few of those guys might get on exercise duty while the rest of them tried to see what else was going on, so that theory could be more easily tested...
