Crossing fingers...no more insulin soon?

My doctor is very pleased with my progress, and has dropped me to 10 units a day of insulin. Since this is "barely anything," if my numbers don't shoot up over the next week, he thinks I should be able to stop entirely by the middle of next week. Yay!

That's great! Now all you have to worry about is the pharmaceutical industry noticing that your intake of prescription drugs has dropped. Then one day as you go out for a walk, two guys from an HMO drag you into a back alley and try to convince you why you have to have Claritan, Flex-All, and whatever that purple stuff I just saw on TV was. Never mind that the side-effects involve spontaneous combustion and a hard disk crash, if it was on TV you MUST need it!

Oddly, I haven't seen any of my specific drugs advertised on TV. I've seen some of their competitors, though.
