Mildly recommended. Working through some of the stack this afternoon, since the guy I needed to bug at work this afternoon wasn't in and I went home early. :)

When you get to Megatron, let me know, as I've figured out how to properly TF his fusion cannon. I'll let you make a stab first, but if you have trouble I'll send you the link to my thread on TFW.

FWIW (I don't have a full review in me) I'd rank Stratego as 'mildly recommended' too, mostly due to weird piece choices. By sticking with the movie characters and leaving out the "movie-verse" stuff such as the Real Gears and game-only characters, you're left with everything of rank 7 or lower being a generic Decepticon "soldier" or "creature", or a squishy. Both sides' rank 2-4 pieces are made up entirely of Sector Seven grunts, the Allspark is the Bots' spy piece (shouldn't it be a flag?) and the Bots' level 7s are planes simply labeled "Fighter." The Special Powers rules are kind of interesting, allowing higher-ranked pieces to attack multiple targets or from several squares away, but at the cost of "transforming," lying them face-up on the board and blowing their cover. I have only played under standard rules so far, though, so I can't comment on how they actually affect the game. It's still my favorite of Hasbro's board games, and actually $5 cheaper than the only version I've seen in-store in the past year (the Library Edition, also Target-exclusive), but I wish the pieces were a little bigger and the characters used more diverse.
