After the cut, I will answer five questions posed to me by
ezrael. If you wish to propagate this bleme, say so in comments and I'll try to come up with five questions to ask you. Then you answer 'em in your journal and the cycle continues. If you just want to argue with my answers, you still might get some questions. :)
If you had to choose a torture that you would then be forced to undergo, which one would you choose?
The comfy chair! More in the spirit of the question, something involving electrical shocks. I've been dealing with those the past few weeks anyway.
What activity that you regularly undergo do you believe yourself to be particularly unskilled at?
Exercise? Not that simple exercise really involves a lot of skill acquisition...I'm probably skilled enough at what I do by this point. Maybe cooking.
Why do you like Transformers?
Hard to answer that one fully. I mean, if phrased as "Why do you like Transformers as opposed to other toys?" then the answer is that I like the analysis part inherent in mucking about with 'em. They're puzzles, but not frustrating in the way that puzzles-as-puzzles often are. But if you go the extra step and ask why I like toys in general, or robots/SF/etc, that's not something I can really answer.
Spider-Man or the Hulk? (Hey, it's as relevant a comparison as Batman vs. Superman.)
That one's easy. Overall, Spider-Man. Sure, some versions of the Hulk can beat on Spidey (mainly the smarter ones), but both have been written well by writers I like, both have plenty of interesting stories in 'em. Under tightly defined circumstances, Hulk wins sometimes (both in contests and in my affections), but Spider-Man has the edge.
Unless you're JMS, in which case Spider-Man is Bruce Banner and the Hulk is Peter Parker and the question can no longer be answered at all....
What was the most painful moment of your life?
Physically, getting my hand caught under a car for ten minutes in 1979 while everyone panicked and waited for the EMS to come tell them to back the car up. Emotionally, getting dumped by my girlfriend in 1989.
