Another day, another line of idiots

Now people are camping out in front of Target for the Wii. Given that there's supposed to be TEN TIMES the supply of that as the PS3, I can only conclude that they're just being posers.

Meanwhile, Casino Royale rocked. A bit too much camera-shake in some of the action scenes, and the other shoe took a bit too long to drop in the final act, but otherwise sehr gut.

Ten times the supply, yes... but for about half the price and with the new Zelda game for a launch title, perhaps ten times the demand?

Haha! My mom and I saw those people at Target today.

Mom: "What's going on?
Dude (mumbling): "Waiting for Nintendo."
Mom: "Are you serious?! When does it come out?"
Dude: "Yeah. Tomorrow."

We were amused.

I should have gone and camped out even though I'm not planning to buy a Wii (new consoles are what Christmas is for), just so I could say I'd done it. A story with which to bore the eventual grandkids.

But alas, it would have been cold, and I hate cold, so perhaps it's for the best.
