Two amusing things from today's shopping.

1) I was "carded" at Wal-Mart when I bought the King Kong Extended Edition. It's "Not Rated," which as far as Wal-Mart is concerned apparently means "hard R" regardless of what's on the disc.

2) Yes, there are morons camping out at Target waiting for the PS3. I say this as a hardcore geek...dudes, get a grip.

Well, Deluxe King Kong isn't actually pushed as unrated, it just has an NR rating because they didn't want to pay to get the extended cut re-rated. But yeah, most of the ones that put "UNRATED!" on the cover are trying to make you think there'll be tits. And Wal-Mart in general is scared to death that some 13 year old is gonna get his hands on a movie with titties and the parents will sue 'em.
