Redesigned the legs, so now the sides of the car become the upper arm and upper leg, with the lower legs folded down inside. The toes have grip tips and can reconfigure for better front-back stability (as with the right foot), better right-left stability (left foot) or a sort of X shape compromise. The feet are also prehensile. I also added a winch inside the right arm, with an oversized 'rang that can be attached to the line.

As a reminder, here is the link to the Kenguru, the base vehicle used.

I like the prehensile "toes." That's pretty forward thinking there.

Useful in vehicle mode too, the lower legs can potentially be swung out without transforming, letting her grab onto things behind the vehicle (although she'd have to pull a reverse wheelie). The bumper can pop open to deploy the winch, too.

I imagine her wheelchair gets locked down pretty tight when she gets in, eh.

(Actually, back in the the 1986-87 Blue Beetle series, Ted had the "waldos" that helped change him into his costume. I get the impression once Babs rolls into The Bug the same kind of armature pretty much locks her chair down pretty tight.)

Oh, hey, is The Bug solar powered like the old Flying Bug was? Be funny if K.O.R.D. was the DCU's leading supplier of alternative fuel mecha cars.

Well, there's never any sunlight in Gotham, so it has to run on batteries. :) Although, maybe it has a Cosmic Converter in it instead...mech mode is gonna really suck down energy.
