The Kansas State school board is wrestling with another issue too. Sex ed. Currently, students take sex ed unless their parents specifically ask for them to opt out. There's a movement to switch to a system where no one takes it unless their parents specifically opt them in. The board voted 5-5 on the issue today, whee. I expect that the fallout from their next move on evolution is likely to change the board's composition enough to result in a decisive vote on sex ed next time they take it up, one way or another.

All in all, I'm glad I'm not raising a kid in this state. :/

Typical attitude... sex is bad, violence is perfectly fine. It's why GTA didn't get slammed until the sex minigame. And yay, more needless legislation and rules against sex-ed, yet domestic violence problems are once more ignored by these fools.

I wouldn't dare raise a kid unless I was first elected preisdent and got to make the rules. Otherwise, I might go to prison for being responsible.
