Michael Moore isn't going to donate under an anonymous name. He wants the attention too much. Donating a million bucks would be all over his website. But the guy likes bragging about his wealth.
But he'll be one of many rich people who won't donate a penny. Though I suspect Robert Redford will send me another "Bush is satan, give me your money so I can pad my cause" envelopes like th eone I got earlier in the year, asking me to donate to a charity he likes(yet likely gave a pittance to. Celebs don't like giving up too much cash. It's why the rappers who sing about ghetto life leave when they get rich and never give to the ghetto).
