Electricity/Energy Brute on Pinnacle redside. Backstory is that a lightning spirit was summoned in a last ditch attempt to make a powersuit work, and it decided it liked living in the suit...but had no use for the inventors.

Edit: BTW, Mazinger is often black and silver, but I was working from a toy that used dark blue instead of black.

I wouldn't bet *money* on it or anything, but I figure that's probably within the range of 'obviously influenced by X, but not cloney enough to squash.' But I've been wrong on both sides before...

Now to use a couple of free respecs and start writing things for Architect tomorrow.

I don't think it's close enough to anything explicitly copywritten (copyrighted? whatever) or trademarked to get generic'd.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. Apparently you need to be a LOT more blatant to get zapped. :)

Of course, now my stable is majority-male, I may need to address that. Maybe an Aphrodite-A or Dianan-D pastiche? ;)

Thanks. The only deliberate departure was the spiked shoulderpads, because there wasn't a set of shoulders that really fit the "spherical joint" look of Mazinger, so I added spikes to make a villainy version. :)

The Cyborg costume pack, an online add-on that you can purchase, has the spherical shoulder pads, along with some other bits.
