Scariest thing to happen to me in a while

While driving to Topeka this afternoon on I-70, the wind was so strong that my car actually skidded sideways for a fraction of a second. Not enough to leave my lane, but enough to briefly hear that terrifying "screeee!" sound from my tires. And not just once, but three times. I half expected the next sound I heard to be a loud bang as a tire shredded.
