Martian Domination! And cheating.

Did a demo game with the owner of my FLGS today. A lot of rules were accidentally broken (mostly in my favor, oops) but my opponent also couldn't make the dice roll well to save his life, so by the time he had to quit and go run a Magic tournament he was almost dead and I was still fine.

I played the Ares Mothership with a mix of Martian and Cthul units, he had Defender X with five G-Tanks and all my other units (two Terrasaurs, one Shadow Sun Syndicate).

Here we are after the first set of monster actions. I'd blown up a building to deny it to his tanks, he'd blown one up to get the power boost.



Due to forgetting that flying units can't hold objective spaces, I was getting a little bit more power than I should have, so I went Hyper early on and started body slamming Defender X around the place. Thanks to Ultra Ares's "Negation" Ability, he couldn't use any power attacks on me, which made a lot of difference. This pic is just before he had to quit, he'd crushed a unit I had on the central space, but was down to 4 health on his Ultra and I'd killed off his Alpha form. Ares had taken 1 damage total.



After he left, I took one more unit turn just to see if a total swarm of what I had could hurt Ultra Defender X, and dealt one more damage. :)
