Remember, this is intended to rank your own interests to see which ones you are "fannish" in and which ones you merely show a sane, normal interest in. A score of 3 or better suggests you're at least a little obsessed. I've changed some of the questions to be more consistent. I added a bit to #7 because it occurred to me that making your own name a part of the fandom is as fannish as picking one from the existing material.
LATER EDIT: Changed 2 and 3 again.
Part 1: Buying Stuff
1) I go out of my way to track down even obscure official products. Not necessarily completism (as this is impossible in the larger properties), simply not settling for the easily available stuff.
2) I have bought one or more items that are considered exceptionally expensive within the fandom (original art, $100,000 motorcycles, massively powerful gaming systems, $200 toys, etc).
3) My total expenditures on the fandom are...large. What this means depends on my situation, but even if I'm well-off, hundreds of dollars a year still counts as large.
Part 2: Creative Endeavors
4) I have generated written works (stories, reviews, guides) based on this fandom.
5) I have created visual art based on this fandom.
6) I have engaged in performance art based on this fandom (LARPing doesn't count, there has to be an audience).
Part 3: Identity Crisis
7) My main online ID is taken from this fandom, OR my existing online ID has become famous in the fan community.
8) I have made a permanent or semi-permanent change to myself based on this fandom (for instance: tattoos, legally changed name).
9) I maintain a web presence of some sort (discussion board, review archive, gallery, etc) for this fandom, and invest money and/or significant time in it. There must be a significant investment of some sort, because anyone can just put together a shrine or something and then ignore it.
Part 4: Climbing To Prodom
10) I have attended conventions dedicated to this fandom that required more than a day trip from me, or if they were local, I was part of the group running the convention. (This item is included in part 4 because it's the best way to get yes answers to the next two items.)
11) Pros involved with the creation of the object of the fandom know me on sight. Bonus point if there's a restraining order. Alternately, I have been Tuckerized (my name used in an official work, either as a quick "easter egg" or as an actual character with lines and everything).
12) I have done work in the fandom that could be considered professional in some way. This includes credits in official products, work on unofficial guides that are published as real books and sold in bookstores, a cameo on the show, etc.
10-12 are essentially the progression of "I met the pros," to "the pros know me," to "I am a pro...sort of, anyway."
