Not sure how it comes packaged, since I got mine several months ago from a Hong Kong contact, but the turret assembly pegs into the feet in jet mode, and there's a way to set the turret hinge in such a way that it all holds together solidly. Much like Crossovers Venom, it's all in figuring out the how of it. The turret pieces popping off seems to be a QC issue. I know some that have them fall off with little effort, mine are on pretty tightly. They'll come off if I pull on them, but generally stay on.

I'll try to get some pics of the stable jet mode when I get home from work and have access to the figure.

Actually, I have one pic up on Photobucket already:

Folding it so that square hinge fills that gap helps hold the tail assembly in place much better. Also, I can't find any decent pics that show it in package, but in jet mode, his robot feet should be out and pointing backwards (as if he were on tiptoe) and the turret can peg into them. You can rotate the turret launchers so the trigger is on top and doesn't get in the way or set off when you peg the turret in place.

I did that trick, and it didn't really help. There's just too many failure points.

On one hand, my own Blitzwing came packaged with the feet pegged in like you say. On the other hand, I've seen many posts from people who haven't noticed that bit of pegging, so maybe it's inconsistent.

I'll give the pegging another try tonight, although it won't fix the tail pop-off or the floppy nosecone.
