Middleman has a lot of potential, but I think it's trying too hard to be quirky. Dunno if it's gonna succeed. I very much doubt it'll ever make "Avengers" levels of fun (despite the clear homage).

Well, it's pretty clearly a Men In Black riff as well, but without the pressure of Big Names who might object to looking stupid. :) As nthmike pointed out, it'd fit in well with the Superguy writing community (LJ group superguylist).
