Bye bye, Alco

Manhattan Alco to close in February. Bummer. There's a few things I get at Alco that no one else carries, and while I can still shop at the Alco in Junction City (or the big one in Abilene on those few occasions I head out that direction far enough...Alco alone isn't a big enough draw to drive the extra 20 mile past JC), I'll miss the weird stuff that sometimes popped up at the abnormally large Alco here in town. And odds are it won't be replaced by anything I give a whit about (the Ray's Apple Market next door might move in, but that just means the thing I don't care about will move into Ray's location).
