It's not often that I'm watching the History Channel and see someone I know personally. In this case, Michelle Thaller was on The Universe: Milky Way in several segments, looking pretty damn good given that it's been almost 20 years since I last saw her back in high school. We were friends in kindergarten, then went to separate schools until high school...I had such a hopeless (because she was dating a guy three years older than me) thing for her in high school, sigh.

Keep in mind nothing's stopping you from getting in touch with her and seeing if she's available and possibly resuming contact.

Just heard back from her, she's been happily married for 7 years. Just kept her maiden name for professional reasons. Ah well.
