( Pic behind cut )
Channel is a fancharacter of mine I devised for The Lost Years MUSH about a decade ago (set on Cybertron right after the Ark and Nemesis left the planet in G1). This page has the various art I've done of him over the years. To make this new piece, I cut, dremeled and filed down an Omnicon Attacktix figure (after removing it from its base) and then built parts up with Milliput epoxy putty and styrene sheet plastic. It's a bit gloppy in places (the Attacktix plastic tends to filament, and the red paint I used is rather viscous).
Channel's function is "Transfer Specialist", a combination of IT, quartermaster and basic maint. He has a talent for seeing where things are, where they need to be, and how to get them there, be they information, energy or supplies. He's picked up basic medic skills since picking sides in the war, and has taught himself a martial arts style similar to Judo. He's no great shakes in combat in any case, and turns into an information kiosk, so it's appropriate to leave the mookish power levels of the Omnicon in place on this figure.
