Sure, it's a holiday, but I didn't really have anything better to do this afternoon, so I went into the office so I could whittle away at some of the week's workload and have an easier time of it the rest of the week.
Brownout last night caused the servers to reset, and no one was in to reboot them. My work machine is an XP box that is little better than a VT100 terminal in terms of being able to do anything while the network is down. So I did what work I could without a computer (which was still quite a bit, got most of next week's lecture notes written), and came home.
Then the cable connection fratzed for an hour and a half.
Ah well, got a big chunk of the Essential Luke Cage read.
