There's a wonderful photoshop out there, a parody of those motivational posters - with an absolute clusterfuck of notes and details on sheet music, and the caption "APHEX TWIN".
You're a bad, bad man, Dave. That had me laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes.
I'm sending this to my Mom, the piano player and voice major. If you hear a popping noise coming from the direction of Pittsburgh, that would be her brain exploding.
OK, got a reply from her, and she loved it. (Luckily it only caused minor bleeding from the eyes--she's much better now.) Apparently it's gone through the Pittsburgh Symphony already, and it's probably making it's way through the Houston choir and organist circles right now. (I showed it to some friends after church, who grabbed it and started making copies.)
Do you know where it originated? I'd like to try to attribute it to someone other than "This guy named Dave I know from the Internet."
I was pointed to it on Crucible City MUX, in the OOC Lounge. So I don't know where it originated. However, when I showed it to my musician brother, he recognized it, so it's been going around in some fashion for a while.
