It's likely going to be a week or two before I get the time during business hours to do more test driving, so I figured I'd bring up the Transformers possibilities of each of the cars I've test-driven.

Dodge Magnum: Red Alert-C is a Magnum, with emergency vehicle add-ons and some IP-infringement-avoidance tweaks.

Dodge Caliber: Not a canonical TF, haven't really thought of a fanmode. The name can probably be used as-is as a character, tho. Or an upgrade for Caliburn, the Mini-Con of convention exclusive MegaZarak.

Toyota Matrix: Designed one a while back, based on [livejournal.com profile] thandrak's XRS.

Mazda 3 Wagon: I have some design ideas kicking around, and the name Tribarrel. :) Mazda licensed the RX-8 for Alternators, I suppose it's not impossble that other Mazdas will show up in the line.

Just a semantic question: would you use Caliber or Calibre?

Well, if I just used the car's name, I'd use the spelling the manufacturer goes with, Caliber. I'm not British, so I generally avoid the "re instead of er" construction as being kinda pretentious (exception: Star Sabre is the TF:Victory one, Star Saber is the Mini-Con assemblage, as far as I go) unless it's someone else's name I'm using.
