Grimstone and Steamhammer both Recommended. Grimstone is a sort of balance of really good and so-so elements, while Steamhammer is fairly consistently good.

I found the chain gun and sword of an old Energon Insecticon to work with Grimstone with minimal alteration (mainly filing down the area above the handle to make room for the hand). It also can connect to the tail or one of the arms in combined mode. Doesn't really blend in well, though, as it's almost as big as he is.
