In retrospect, I can see why it's so heavy--the whole assembly would topple otherwise--but if it were lighter I'd be able to use it as an energy blast/force wall effect. And none of the other effects connect to the piece that connects the base to HG's foot, which strikes me as a bit of a missed opportunity.
Still a great toy, though, and I'm glad Hasbro made that last wave available after the line died.
