Updated later in the same year when my ASH Champions campaign upgraded to Hero 4th Edition. Yeah, his anatomy doesn't hold together very well, but it's a marked improvement over where I was five months before this in April of 1989.

Inked with a quill and ink, my second try at that style. I used quills for about two years before getting sick of spatters and switching to technical pens. I was strongly influenced by Larry Stroman's art on the Double Dragon comic that came out that summer.

By 1994 RL, I'd moved on to the 2020s ASH and never really designed a "stable" version of the Third Age Solar Max. So this is it. Includes some of the more obvious armoring of the 1991 suit, but with the smoother lines of the 1990 suit. He's facing the same blaster as in the 1989 picture, but rather than panicking and ducking, the five years of experience allow him to calmly block the shot and prepare to feed the attacker a solar sword.
