Tangent: If you take Voyager Animated Optimus in robot mode, tuck the head away, and compress the legs, he kinda looks like a mecha from that anime.

Yep, watched all three subbed volumes. Every time I see that oilman ad where he says, "Drill, drill, drill," I hear Simon saying the same thing. :)
