Age of Apocalypse is worth a read-through, if you can find someone with a full set. I've got 'em, but it's not all that feasible to ship comics out to Kansas and back. :) It's one of the very rare (and the case can be made for *only*) big summer crossovers that was coherent, cohesive, and, most importantly, worth the money.
