Ganked with modification from [livejournal.com profile] kateshort.

Write the following on a piece of paper and scan it in:
1. Your name and/or username
2. Righty or lefty?
3. "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs."
4. What letters do you particularly like writing?
5. What letters do you particularly dislike writing?

Okay, a little jagged, I think I compressed too far. OTOH, this will make it less useful for any forgers out there. :)

In 1990-91 I made a conscious decision to modify my handwriting "font". I had two goals in this: to reduce the chances of mistaking letters for numbers or symbols (i.e. Z and 2, + and t, etc), and to adopt aspects of the "Prisoner" font. The e and g never really took full root, and I tend to swap between e's even now, which annoys me a little. My g's have almost entirely reverted to the open-bottom, but I don't like the way I make those...it just got too hard to draw the two-loop versions cleanly. So g and e annoy me a little. Also, I have to be careful with e not to look like ε when I'm writing at the chalkboard.

I picked up the crossbars on q and z from David Chyba, one of my professors in college. Of course, this caused me problems in grad school when I got to field theory and q-bar. :) Oh, and when I'm writing for equations, I tend to be more careful that my j hooks clearly to the left, and that my i hooks to the right (so it doesn't look like a 1).

I forgot to add r to the dislikes list. Mainly because the r at the end of a word often nearly vanishes into a trail-off and I have to go back and rewrite it so many times.

I read "blemeage" from the cut as "blancmange", and thought either a Monty Python sketch about alien invasion, or tasty pastries. I feel somewhat cheated.

I seem to alternate between making my w's rounded or pointy. Which means my signature alternates as well.

pointy w's

Pointed letters like m, n, and w show a shart mind that likes to investigate. I always hated that typed or parochial r because mine ended up looking more like a v.
