I just found out that the tiles in my office, which I've slowly been grinding to dust under the wheels of my desk chair for over five years...are asbestos-laced. They're gonna lay down sealant this weekend and I've ordered a chair mat, hopefully I won't have to completely evacuate my office at some point to allow full replacement, though.

I wouldn't be too worried, at least your floor is fireproof. I'm having to replace my boards with stone for that reason (and the floor of the room I keep my wood stove in is entirely concrete)

We have naturally occurring asbestos in some of the gorges and valleys near my home. Heavy rains will erode the rock to fine dust, then when the weather turns dry you end up with these valleys filled with natural asbestos dust clouds.

What the heck, nature?

Yup, just like mine were. They replaced them all, but had plastic and an asbestos warning covering the door for a few days.
