Lately, I've been listening to one of my favorite radio stations via streaming internet at work, since their broadcast signal got weaker and I can only pick them up in my car radio. Due to some union rule or another, they can't play the same ads on the streaming version as they do on air, which mainly means a LOT of repetition (although it's better than another station too far to pick up, which doesn't even sell their ad space and runs an annoying background music during ad breaks).

But one of their advertisers clued in to the fact that a streaming audio ad isn't just a radio ad: they also bought banner ad space on the player, and the banner runs at the same time as the audio ad. So they tell listeners to click on the banner ad for more information. Rather clever of them. (And no, I haven't clicked on the ad...it's a "we have jobs that need applicants" sort of ad, and even if I were jobhunting it's not my field.)
