The reason ASH #77 isn't out yet

My conference notes page has been updated with the transcription of my meeting notes from Seattle. You've read the blog (well, you did if you're on my Friends List), now read the work-related stuff! :)

Anyway, I told myself there would be no ASH writing until I finished transcribing my 55 pages of handwritten notes, and now that this has been accomplished (it's a 39 page PDF with a table of contents, but no index), I can start on ASH tomorrow.

ASH Attacktix: White Trooper (Khadam)

The grunts of Khadam, these guys don't get the cushy Citadel assignments, so their armor tends to get carbon-scored and covered in dried ichor. They carry a Tsaran pistol, a wrist-mounted ultrasonic stunner for crowd control, and a one-shot pistol in their boot holster that holds a 12-gauge shotgun shell (reloads in the thigh pocket) in case they run into a Vivarium critter that eats energy. Their armor is lighter than the Gold Trooper armor, but this also lets them run away from bulletproof energy-eating Vivarium critters more effectively. The job can really suck, but it's better than being a Green Trooper. Or worse, one of the poor schmucks the Green Troopers bring in....
