You know you may be too into Burn Notice when...

...in thinking about your job or hobby, you start to internally narrate the musings in Michael Weston's voice.

"The difference between a professional reviewer and an amateur isn't one of skill or experience. Rather, it's the fact that a professional has had to wade through a lot more bad stuff because they're being paid to." (Yeah, it's hard to textually indicate his cadence.)

"How 'bout a mojito, Mikey?"

(Sorry. That sort of thing requires a Sam Axe comment.)

I tend to mutter to myself, "When you're a spy..." and then trail off since, well, I'm not a spy.

Now I'm hearing Michael speaking the lyrics of "When You're a Jet" from West Side Story....

The first thing I ever saw Jeffrey Donovan on was The Pretender, where he was a crazy Pretender. He had a catchphrase (?), "I decide who lives or dies." There's a part of me that's always waiting for him to say that on the show.

My first warning sign

The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide for Star Wars SAGA Edition has an "Espionage" talent tree for Scouts. It contains a lot of flavor text describing the talents in terms of skills that spies have, and their applications. From that point on, everything in that book came out in my head as a Michael Westen VO.
