Art: Gauntlet II (ASH)

Titanium microchain grown biologically as the undersuit. Most of the armor chunks are actually batteries, as the armor is designed to siphon away the excess bioelectricity that in the past drove Josh Cole insane. The gauntlet weapon isn't just a bludgeon, it contains a number of energy projectors that draw on the batteries. Prismacolor markers and pencils, with acrylic paint for the electrical crackle.

Yeah, I wanted a brown-tinged metal undersuit, but everyone keeps saying he looks naked. Even though the skin tone on his only exposed flesh is rather different.

And now I have the theme song from the arcade game Gauntlet II (the Nintendo version of which turned up in an mc chris song) stuck in my head. Nice art as always, though.
