It says something...

...that Monday was the 2 year anniversary of my diabetes diagnosis, and it completely slipped my mind until just now. By contrast, it took four years or more before the anniversary of my first dumping-by-girlfriend started passing without notice. :)

Not bad, actually. I don't have diabetes or a girlfriend, but I did work out my probability of getting either one. Now I'm very depressed.

I'm not sure being diagnosed with diabetes would be a cause for celebration, to be honest. But I don't have it, so I don't know what it's like to be part of "the group". I know some people with certain conditions tend to bond together and all that, try to make the best of it.

Girlfriend? I was the one who dumped all of mine, all with very good cause. I don't tend to tolerate certain things, such as the one who stole from my house, or the one that came after me with a knife because she forgot to take her meds.
