On the plus side, the plastic this is made of doesn't go perma-sticky when coated in nail polish topcoat. On the minus side, that's not enough to prevent some scraping. :/
I know it isn't really quite thematic for the character, but I'd be tempted to add decals or paint to turn him into a TV news vehicle - our station used Explorers, but I wouldn't be surprised if some didn't use ...whatever Ironhide is.
Ironhide is a chimera, like many non-licensed TFs. thandrak thinks it's a mix of Escalade (mainly the front), M-Class Mercedes (at the rear) and Lamborghini LM004 on the sides and some of the front.
My review of Ironhide is done, and I was going to review Sideswipe and Silverstreak last night, but my shoulder pain made it hard to concentrate on typing.
In other news, I just realized I put the forearms back on the wrong arms. And I'm going to redo the cab section in crimson, the bright red just doesn't mesh well...the fact that it matches the factory paint is no excuse. :)
