TMBG takes the lead

After an evening of ripping CDs, I now have 17 hours of TMBG in iTunes, compared to 15 hours of Shonen Knife. I still have unripped TMBG, but it's all pretty redundant stuff (live performances, singles with different mixes, the "Then" compilation, etc).

and yet you wonder why your iPod is always playing Particle Man

Actually, these days the odds are it's playing something in chirpy Japanese. I got a CD full of (mostly-in-Japanese) Shonen Knife MP3s a few weeks ago and loaded most of it onto my iPod. :)

You're hard-core. The closest I come to that is 9 hours of Beatles, 8.75 hours of John Williams & the London Symphony Orchestra (mostly Star Wars soundtracks), and 8.5 hours of Weird Al.

I haven't ripped much of my Weird Al collection, although I should get to that next. :)
